My Nutrisystem came in the mail! One hard thing about it, for me at least, is that the package is super heavy and big and they had to drop it off at the leasing office. So I had to lock the baby in the apartment and run over and lug it all the way up a flight and a half of stairs. (maybe once I get a good schedule of working out, it won't be so bad).
What they don't tell you:
You have to buy food to go with the food. Each meal needs either a fruit, veggie, protein, or dairy. PLUS there's a snack they want you to eat that they don't provide for you. :( So on top of paying for the food (which as I said before, will actually save us some money) you have to buy more food to go with the meals.
I mean I could TRY to go without the extra food, but A) It's probably not healthy and B) I think I would be starving by the end of the day if I didn't have that extra food.
Things to buy at the store:
milk
bananas
oranges
eggs
lettuce
carrots
broccoli
(that's not too bad I guess)
Some good things about it is that the food looks good. Even the little bars look good. I will be losing weight (hopefully). It's extremely convenient, especially for someone like me who can never decide what to eat and never wants to take the effort to cook anything.
One weird thing is that nothing needs to be refrigerated. NOTHING. I have no cabinet space for this. I cleaned out my refrigerator to make room for this food and now I need cabinet space instead. So nothing is in my fridge and there's no room in my cabinets. I will have to do some serious problem solving for this one.
I'm so excited! I want to start now! I will wait until breakfast tomorrow so it all evens out, though.
